Do I need a referral?
You do not need a referral unless your insurance requres it. Call our office and we’ll help check for you.
How do I get in touch after hours?
We offer after-hours contact through our answering service. In emergencies, please call 911 or go to the ER.

Pre-Surgery
What can I expect before surgery?
Pre-Op Instructions:
Stop eating or drinking after midnight the night before surgery
Adjust medications as directed
Arrange a ride home
Pre-Operative Appointment:
We’ll review your health history, answer questions, and explain your procedure step by step.
Testing (if needed):
Lab work, imaging, or clearance from your primary care provider may be requested.
You'll receive a written checklist and instructions tailored to your procedure.
Post-Surgery
What can I expect after surgery?
Follow-Up Appointments:
We typically schedule a visit within 1–2 weeks to check on healing and answer any questions.
Pain Management:
You’ll go home with detailed instructions and prescriptions as needed. Most patients experience less pain with minimally invasive surgery.
Activity & Recovery:
Most patients return to light activity in a few days
Avoid heavy lifting for 2–6 weeks depending on the procedure
You’ll be given customized guidance based on your surgery
Will I have stitches or staples?
Most incisions are closed with dissolvable sutures under the skin. We’ll let you know what to expect.
When can I drive again?
Typically 24–48 hours after stopping pain medication and regaining full mobility — but it varies by procedure.
